I am a film and television creative executive, producer and story editor with 30+ years’ experience developing, producing and supporting film and television for international audiences.
I am also writing a book, essays and articles that I’m excited to share with readers.
I help bring stories to life - from the first spark of an idea to the final delivery.
About ME
I’ve spent years growing projects with some of the best talent in the business and with exciting emerging voices. I manage slates and projects, guiding them through creative development and production, and navigating challenges that require equal parts strategy and imagination.
Now, alongside consulting for film and television, I’m also building my practice as a writer — working on a memoir, writing personal essays, developing new shows and films and completing an MFA in Creative Non-Fiction. It sounds like a lot, and sometimes it is, but each part feeds the others.

My work explores themes of creativity and modern life.
Do I look tired in this picture? Well, I was that week. It was my first week of a MFA residency that I attended while on vacation from my busy job as head of a scripted department for a tv studio.
Now, I’m on the home stretch of the MFA and my first book along with it. I am publishing essays on Substack and Medium and developing new shows and films.

From Good to Great: The Art of Story Development
Students will leave with a practical framework for elevating the emotional core, character depth and arc, structural spine, and thematic centre of a story. They’ll learn to elevate good ideas and scripts to great, producible scripts that will attract partners and audiences.
From Idea to Audience: The Role of the Creative Producer
Students will learn the end-to-end role of a creative producer - sourcing and developing material, securing rights and partners, supporting the showrunner, working with line producers and key creatives, and managing creative relationships with networks and streamers. They’ll leave with a roadmap for shaping projects from concept through production with both creative and strategic insight.
